Aside from managing and writing for the site, I enjoy watching and creating films. Some of my all time favourites include Requiem for a Dream, Tree of Life and the original Star Wars trilogy though in truth, the list could go on!
I have a huge interest in all films but not that much of a fan for horrors (don’t mind Thrillers). My favourite movies have got to be Anchorman, Wedding Crashers and Big Nothing. I am currently writing short movies when I’m not writing and planning for Boolean Flix or working for various people. I am hopefully getting filming soon.

I am 20 years old, and a Journalism student at University College Falmouth. I have always lived in Cornwall, yet have always know there is so much more out there. From a young age, I have always had a passion for film Journalism, and for the past 12 months, I have produced content for my regional cinema magazine Movie Magic Cornwall. Along with this, I occasionally write for University College Falmouth’s inhouse publications, and have also had work published in my local weekly newspaper. I dedicate my own blog to film Journalism also, as well as my progression through the Journalism degree.
I’ve been reviewing films for the past three years, and have maintained a long-standing perspective on it for even longer. I’m a journalist, a writer, a reader and a reviewer, but I’ve always had a special place in my heart for film. I’ve written a few short screenplays but haven’t yet surmised the gusto to get behind the lens- maybe later I’ll move on to different aspects of movie making. Creative writing has enabled me to get better at writing film blogs, which is mostly what I do in my spare time. Besides reviewing and watching films you’ll usually find me curled up with a book- by the standards of film making these days, it’ll probably be adapted into a movie soon. My favorite films include Titanic, Braveheart, The Pianist, Forrest Gump, Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Back to the Future, The Dark Knight, Inception, Aliens, The Sting, and The Shawshank Redemption.
