It can be hard to make a top 5 when there is literally hundreds of great songs to choose from. There are so many great songs from different genres, from Pop to Rock, Dance to Rap. Compiling a top 5 is a bit difficult, especially when you keep thinking of other great songs. There are so many great film songs that everybody could compile their own top 5 and no one could be the same. So here are my Top 5 film songs of all time. (Only realising after all my song changes that I ended up with 4 out the 5 being mushy love songs!)

Moulin Rouge – Your Song
I Don’t know whether it’s the song or the fact that Ewan McGregor is singing it, but this is a great love song. It could also be the fact that if you close your eyes you can pretend that Ewan is actually singing to you and this is your song. Not that I do that or anything.
Dirty Dancing – (I’ve Had) The Time of My Life
This song is the perfect end to a classic film. It always makes you want to get up and dance and to try and lift everybody up the way Johnny lifts Baby. Looks much easier than it is!

City of Angels – Iris
This has to be one of the most timeless romantic songs. The lyrics ” I’d give up forever to touch you” would make anybody swoon. Even though the film was a bit of a letdown, this song is still a classic which is played constantly on the radio and comes up on many countdowns and playlists.
Rocky III – Eye of the Tiger
This song just makes you want to start running on the spot and punch the air. And maybe if you are near some stairs, run up them as well. A song that is always on an 80’s playlist but as it is such a classic can also be found on many DJ playlists in between current up to date music.
Lion King – Circle of Life
The best song out of this Disney cartoon by far. Along with visuals of all the animals gathering to see the new prince, this song gives you Goosebumps and if you’re a very emotional person, maybe a tear in your eye!

Author Bio
When she isn’t writing about music and DJ equipment for DJ site ‘Lancashire PA Hire‘ Jess Collins is a passionate film buff. Mallrats is one of her favourite films and if she is honest she would admit that she has a little crush on Ben Affleck.

While I don’t think I would have selected your top five, those are all great songs. Just so many good ones to choose from.
What would be your top 5 3guys1movie!? There are an awful lot of amazing songs out there.
